After leaving Leeds College of Building in 1995, Wayne Dickinson had an ambition to set up his own business by the age of 30. He achieved this ambition by the age of 28 when he set up his Morley based business, Wayne Dickinson Decorating Contactors in 2003. Since then we have earned a reputation as a reliable and efficient painting, maintenance & building refurbishment contractor.
Working from offices in Leeds we provide the highest standards of workmanship, service & value for money for all our clients throughout the UK. We have worked with some of the biggest building contractors in the country including Carillion, Baldwins and Binks Vertical.
In less than 2 years, the company has gone from strength to strength and now employs over 15 people. Wayne is keen to expand the business whilst supporting the college by offering opportunities to young painters and decorators from the community. He employs a number of apprentices who are now enrolled on courses at Leeds College of Building.

Premier Trophy Awards 2010VERY HIGHLY COMMENDED Wayne Dickinson Decorating Contractors won this award for the work done on West House, Yorkshire. "This very spacious and beautiful Grade Listed Georgian House had been partially damaged by fire. Much preparative and restoration work was needed to bring the plaster, timber and surfaces generally to a sound condition for repainting and wallpapering. This has been achieved, and at the insistance of the owner all work has been carried out to a high specification, keeping the listed status in mind, and the finished result is excellent. Wall hangings and colours were carefully chosen and the work completed with excellent craftmanship. The apprentice also had a big hand, being given the responsibility for some vital decorative aspects. Well done to the employer and his team for an excellent result." |
