Millroyd Island
Millroyd Island in Brighouse was developed by Binks Vertical and is set in the idyllic atmosphere of a traditional waterside woollen mill.
All the interiors were decorated to an exceptional standard using the best quality products as well as the best decorators in the business. So high was the standard that Wayne Dickinson won the 2005 PDA commercial award for the project. [more]
Ledgard Bridge Mill is the latest development from the award winning Binks Vertical. It is a luxurious address that offers a perfect blend of industrial heritage and contemporary living. After the award winning standard set by Wayne Dickinson for their previous work at the Millroyd Island project in Brighouse, they have been employed again on this latest project. As well as being a huge supporter and sponsor of Morley Rugby Club, Wayne Dickinson also used his expertise to decorated the changing rooms and club bar at the MRFC ground. [more]
Howard Cook Builders Ltd were engaged to resore a grade two listed building following the loss of one room and consequenitial loss to the whole first floor following a fire. The main hall stairs and landing also suffered substantial decorative damage.
Wayne Dickinson Decorators submitted theeir proposals for the redecoration of the property and to work with the interior designers from cedar House Interiors of Ripon. Wayne Dickinson was able to offer expertise and guidance for the proposal redecoration works.
Each of the first floor bedrooms comprised of ornate and intricate plaster cornices, panel moldings and dado rails, windows with traditional full working shutters and associated period doors. The walls themselves being old sand lime horsehair plasters of reasonable condition.
